Merry Christmas....Season

      Sorry I'm a day late to those who read the blog. Yesterday was a little bit hectic, and then I forgot. But Christmas is much too important to leave out, so a day after the 25th will have to suffice.     Though we celebrated the day of the Lord's birth yesterday, we still celebrate Christmas today. According to the USCCB, the Christmas season ends on the Baptism of the Lord.  This year the Baptism will occur on the 12th of January, 2025. So we still have some Christmas left. Or if you want to be particularly traditional, you can celebrate Christmas all the way until Candlemas (February 2). I personally like to celebrate until Candlemas, but it's a matter of preference.     I was told by a priest that you can celebrate Christmas year-round. This doesn't refer to 'every day is Christmas' but rather, it means that you can (and should) celebrate the Lord's coming into the earth every day.
