The Sign of the Cross: What it is and How to Pray it

        Here's a short paragraph on The Sign of the Cross, what it means, and how to pray it.                      The Sign of the Cross is a short prayer; typically used as an opening and closing prayer, but it can be used at any time. The prayer is said like this: "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen", as you say this, touch your right hand to your forehead, then your chest, and then your right and left shoulders. So, your would say "In the name of the Father,"(touch your forehead) "and of the Son,"(touch your chest) "and of the Holy Spirit"(touch your right and left shoulders). Notice how we say "In the NAME" and not "In the NAMES" this shows that we acknowledge and believe that God is one in three beings.  We should say the Sign of the Cross with reverence and respect, and not rush. Two Members Added

      In my endeavor to recruit as many of my Catholic friends as possible into the blog, my friend Landen (Iceman) has been added today. Landen is the brother of blog member Brennan (The_Captain).      Also added to the blog is my friend Santiago (Seager for the Win).
