Prayer of Saint Gertrude

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Foremost Precious Blood
of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said
throughout the planet today, for all the holy souls in
Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners within the
Universal Church, those in my very own home, and within
my family.

Prayer of St. Gertrude



    St. Gertrude the Great was a mystic born in 1256. She received many visions from the Lord, and used prayer to communicate with Him. The Lord promised her that when every time this prayer was said devoutly, 1000 souls would be freed from Purgatory.

Merry Christmas....Season

      Sorry I'm a day late to those who read the blog. Yesterday was a little bit hectic, and then I forgot. But Christmas is much too important to leave out, so a day after the 25th will have to suffice.     Though we celebrated the day of the Lord's birth yesterday, we still celebrate Christmas today. According to the USCCB, the Christmas season ends on the Baptism of the Lord.  This year the Baptism will occur on the 12th of January, 2025. So we still have some Christmas left. Or if you want to be particularly traditional, you can celebrate Christmas all the way until Candlemas (February 2). I personally like to celebrate until Candlemas, but it's a matter of preference.     I was told by a priest that you can celebrate Christmas year-round. This doesn't refer to 'every day is Christmas' but rather, it means that you can (and should) celebrate the Lord's coming into the earth every day. The Sign of the Cross: What it is and How to Pray it

        Here's a short paragraph on The Sign of the Cross, what it means, and how to pray it.                      The Sign of the Cross is a short prayer; typically used as an opening and closing prayer, but it can be used at any time. The prayer is said like this: "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen", as you say this, touch your right hand to your forehead, then your chest, and then your right and left shoulders. So, your would say "In the name of the Father,"(touch your forehead) "and of the Son,"(touch your chest) "and of the Holy Spirit"(touch your right and left shoulders).
